Work continues towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme despite the current lockdown.
Pupils are participating in the pen pal scheme with OMKs and local Tavistock residents, helping out elderly neighbours with dog walking and odd jobs, or volunteering at their local stables. They are taking up new skills, including cookery, animal training or learning a musical instrument, and making the most of the Mount Kelly virtual challenge to keep up their fitness.
The School offers virtual drop in sessions on Tuesdays at 16:00 for Years 10-13 and Wednesdays at 15:00 for Year 9, and pupils are encouraged to log in and start signing off their completed sections.
