The Mount Kelly Chamber Choir was the star of the show at last night’s fundraising gala at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of Barnardo’s.
The choir was invited to take a feature role in the concert as a result of winning the UK School Choir of the Year Competition last year and it was a memorable experience for all of the pupils involved. The highlight of this evening of film music was their solo performance of the opening piece from Frozen with a specially commissioned accompaniment for the choir played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience for our young choristers.
