Almost 70 pupils took on the long-awaited Mount Kelly Expedition at the weekend.
Four different routes were followed by the Ten Tors teams (35 and 45 miles) and the Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold teams to complete their practice walk. The weather was kind with plenty of sunshine but with a biting wind on the top of the moor.
All pupils displayed the Mount Kelly values of courage, grit, determination and great teamwork.
The Ten Tors teams will be announced shortly, however congratulations must go to all of the pupils who have completed the training this year in some very tough conditions. The Ten Tors challenge will take place from 6-8 May and we look forward to cheering all of our teams across the finish line at Okehampton.
