Although the national celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will take place during half-term, Mount Kelly marked this important occasion in our national life with a spectacular Jubilee Lunch at both Prep and College.
The dining halls were decked in red, white and blue, and after lunch the whole school walked to St Eustachius’ for a service of thanksgiving for the queen’s long reign. Both College and Prep Choirs were in fine voice, and the Chaplain’s address reminded us all of the fulfilment that is to be found in a life of service.
