Mount Kelly is an independent school located in Tavistock, Devon, UK. We are a co-educational school for children aged between 4 and 18 offering day, weekly, flexi and full boarding.

Mount Kelly has an internationally recognised Performance Swimming programme, managed by Emma Collings-Barnes. There are three pools on our campus including a 50m, 8 lane Olympic Legacy swimming pool.

Over the summer, Filly H took to the main stage at CarFest as an official ambassador for the charity Starlight, speaking confidently and articulately in front of a crowd of more than 30,000 people.
Filly shared her personal experience and spoke about the important role therapeutic play specialists played throughout her childhood, helping to raise awareness of Starlight’s work.
Taking to such a huge stage is an incredible achievement, and Filly handled the occasion with remarkable confidence and composure.
We are incredibly proud of Filly for using her experience and her voice to support such an important cause. Well done, Filly! 👏🌟

Over the summer, 10 of our pupils had the fantastic opportunity to sail aboard the Tall Ships Youth Trust Challenger yachts, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Conway Merchant Navy Trust (CMNT).⛵
Taking on an experience of a lifetime, pupils discovered just how much goes into sailing, from learning new skills to experiencing first-hand the teamwork and physical effort needed to keep the yacht moving. For many, it was a real eye-opener – challenging, rewarding and hugely enjoyable!
One of the highlights was undoubtedly the night sailing. Setting off at 3:30am, pupils sailed through the darkness before watching the sun rise from the water – an experience that certainly did not disappoint. ☀
