The Senior Rugby tour to Rome and Florence was a great success over half term, combining some superb rugby with fantastic sightseeing and cultural experiences. The team won two out of their three matches: a 35-12 win over Rugby Roma, 24-19 against Vasari Arezzo Rugby in Florence, and a narrow 26-31 loss.
Pupils enjoyed visits to the Colosseum, the Vatican and St Peter’s Basilica, stopped off at the historical hilltop city of Orvieto, and explored the sights of Florence where they even participated in a cookery class.
The entire team did the School proud! The next sports tour will be a cricket tour for boys and girls to Dubai at Easter.
