The Pre-Prep children have had a wonderful week, jam packed with activities aimed at raising their awareness of road safety.
Year 2 pupils have been comparing the different ways used to communicate road safety, including an excellent government website full of interactive games, singing hedgehogs, the Green Cross Code man and the Tufty club!
Year 1 and 2 children were put to the test on their bicycles this week, demonstrating awareness of other bike users and how to use their brakes safety to avoid hazards, including a lady crossing the road and a rogue football.
All of the Pre-Prep pupils have visited Tavistock town centre to experience how pedestrians are kept safe in our local community. Whilst in town, the children seized the opportunity to visit some local charity shops to buy items to repurpose for their stall at the Christmas fair.
