At Mount Kelly, we are committed to ensuring our Year 11 pupils feel fully supported as they prepare for the transition to Sixth Form. To help guide them through this important stage, we have been hosting a series of initiatives designed to provide information and clarity about their future options.
We have organised a series of breakfast meetings with each tutor group, attended by the Head Master and the Head of Sixth Form and Guidance. These informal gatherings have provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to discuss their aspirations, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into life in Sixth Form.
In addition, we will be hosting an Information Evening on Tuesday 28 January from 19:00 in the College Library, for both parents and pupils. Key members of staff, along with some of our current Sixth Form pupils, will be available to answer questions and share their experiences, offering a first-hand perspective on what to expect in the next stage of their education.
Furthermore, our Head of Guidance, Mrs. Callard, is available for one-to-one consultations with any pupils who need support in making decisions about their academic pathways. We encourage our pupils to contact Mrs Callard, their Tutor or House Parent to discuss the Sixth Form.
We are dedicated to making the transition to Sixth Form as smooth and informed as possible for our Year 11 pupils, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for the exciting journey ahead.
