Mount Kelly cricketers enjoyed a wonderful tour to Dubai at the start of the Easter break. Playing in the Dubai Sevens Stadium, the Jebel Ail and the DCS You in Sharjah, cricket was truly at the heart of the trip, and Dubai delivered on every level. Throughout the tour, the teams faced strong local sides like G-force and Smashing Point, pushing their skills and building strong camaraderie both on and off the pitch.
Off the field, our pupils soaked up everything Dubai has to offer. They explored the Dubai Creek, taking in the rich history and vibrant culture, and the desert safari was a real bucket-list moment. From dune bashing and camel rides to catching the sunset over golden sands, the desert offered a whole new appreciation for the landscape. A day at the water park and a visit to Dubai Mall completed a fantastic trip.
The tour was a journey full of moments our pupils will carry for a lifetime. From the wickets taken to the laughs shared in the desert; Dubai gave us memories that went far beyond the game.
Here’s to more tours, more cricket, and an unforgettable summer ahead. Thank you again to all of our sponsors.
