Mount Kelly is an independent school located in Tavistock, Devon, UK. We are a co-educational school for children aged between 4 and 18 offering day, weekly, flexi and full boarding.

Mount Kelly has an internationally recognised Performance Swimming programme, managed by Emma Collings-Barnes. There are three pools on our campus including a 50m, 8 lane Olympic Legacy swimming pool.

A fantastic example of the strength of the OMK network. 👏
OMK Freddy Frost (2002–2007), now a Consultant Chest Physician in Liverpool, recently collaborated with fellow OMK Finlay Barker (2014–2023), a medical student at the University of Liverpool, on a research project investigating the digital quantification of sputum colour.
Their work was presented by Finlay at the national COPD UK Conference, where he was awarded the Clinical Excellence Rising Star Award. An outstanding achievement and a wonderful example of Old Mount Kelleians supporting and inspiring one another long after leaving school.
Congratulations to both Freddy and Finlay on this well-deserved recognition.

Mount Kelly Sports Days Are Here!🏃
Our Sports Days are well underway, and on Friday the Prep School was first to take to the track and field.
Pupils from Years 3 to 8 competed in a wide range of events, from high jump and discus in the field to the 100m, 800m and relays on the track. Every house gave their all, battling it out in a fantastic display of determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. Well done to Scott House who took home the coveted trophy! 🏆

Our Greenpower Racing Club is making great progress with their car! 🚗
Between the showers, the team managed to get outside and test their latest modifications. Now fitted with the first stages of bodywork, the car is starting to take shape, and the progress since we last saw it has been incredible.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a glorious afternoon exploring the beautiful natural surroundings at Coombeshead. 🌿
The children learned about how the team cares for its bees and were fascinated to watch them buzzing in and out of their newly built beehive. They also met the water buffalo and discovered how they are helping to regenerate and maintain natural habitats.

Pupils from the Prep travelled to the London Aquatics Centre, home of the 2012 Olympic Games, for the IAPS National Swimming Finals this weekend.
