Mount Kelly is an independent school located in Tavistock, Devon, UK. We are a co-educational school for children aged between 4 and 18 offering day, weekly, flexi and full boarding.

Mount Kelly has an internationally recognised Performance Swimming programme, managed by Emma Collings-Barnes. There are three pools on our campus including a 50m, 8 lane Olympic Legacy swimming pool.

Launching this September, the Mount Kelly Business School is designed around a curriculum that is alive - evolving in real time alongside global events, technological disruption and geopolitical change.
At the heart of the Business School is The Decoded Series: rapid-response lessons that take major developments from the worlds of business, economics, politics and technology and turn them into meaningful classroom discussion and analysis.
Rather than studying case studies years after they happen, pupils will engage with the stories shaping the world right now, developing the confidence to question, interpret and think critically about the forces influencing modern business and leadership.

What a weekend for Freddie W 👏
On Saturday, Freddie ran a superb 1500m PB of 4:02 at a British Milers Club event, shaving an incredible 10.45 seconds off his PB!
Less than 24 hours later, he went on to win the Plymouth 10K in 33:02 as the youngest runner in a field of around 2,000 competitors 🏆

In a remarkably close-run competition, Russell House was crowned the 2026 Mount Kelly Inter-House Chess Champions, clinching the title by a solitary point ahead of Courtenay House ♟️
Held in the College Library, the tournament saw each house field a team of four players, with every match proving vital to the final standings.
