Mount Kelly is an independent school located in Tavistock, Devon, UK. We are a co-educational school for children aged between 4 and 18 offering day, weekly, flexi and full boarding.

More fantastic news from the ESAA Championships this weekend! 🏃♂️
Luke S-T produced an outstanding performance in the Intermediate Boys` 1500m Steeplechase, competing up an age group. Luke finished 2nd in his heat (4:26) to qualify for the final, where he placed 7th in the country with a new personal best of 4:29, an incredible 8-second PB!👏
Evie P also impressed, finishing 10th in the country in the Senior Girls` Javelin.

Huge congratulations to Freddie W on an incredible performance at the ESAA Championships this weekend!🏃♂️
Competing at Birmingham`s Alexander Stadium in challenging 30°C heat, Freddie ran a superb Personal Best of 4:00.70 in the Intermediate Boys` 1500m.👏
He missed out on a place in the final by just 0.51 seconds in the strongest heat of the day, despite his time being over three seconds faster than the eventual winning time in the final.
To make the achievement even more remarkable, Freddie was the youngest athlete in his heat and will return next year still eligible for the same age group. A fantastic achievement and an exciting glimpse of what`s to come. Well done, Freddie! 🎉

Mount Kelly triathletes took on the Tavi Tri this weekend and used their homefield advantage on the course to push the pace each lap on the hill up to the main block after strong swims in the pool.
Tom A made up several places during the run to secure a top-10 finish in the U14 category, while Ruben M-E held his position after an impressive bike leg to claim third place on the U16 podium. 🥉
The team is now looking forward to building on a strong start to the summer racing season at the next round in Bodmin.

Next week, Saturday 18 July, Mount Kelly is delighted to be hosting the South West Region Cycling Talent ID Day, delivered by British Cycling.
Open to aspiring cyclists aged 12–15 (born 2010–2014) from across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, this is a fantastic opportunity for non-club riders to discover their potential in the sport.
On the day there will be:
🏃 Performance testing
🚴 Cycling assessments
💡 Rider & parent workshops
⭐ Opportunities for future development pathways
Club membership is not required, and riders who are new to structured competition are encouraged to apply. Applications are welcomed from cyclists of all backgrounds who are eligible for a British passport.
